Owner, Brownstown Concrete
Tom Buch owns and operates Buch Motorsports and Brownstown Concrete out of his hometown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Penn State University with a degree Forest Services, as well as captain of the Penn State Rugby Team.
Tom founded Buch Motorsports in 1999.
In 1999, Buch introduced his personally funded Buch Motorsports and within a year, finished 3rd in points running the U.R.C. Circuit, which consisted of the Northeast United States and Eastern Canada.
From 2003 to 2007, the team was facing the toughest competitive SprintCar circuit in in the country, within Pennsylvania as a non-traveling team. By 2008, Buch Motorsports had won several races and switched to racing nationally.
In 2009, the team was consistently finishing in the Top 10 in ASCS and USAC events. These victories included The King of the 360, which was the top paying 360 winged race in the country at the time, as well as the Ultimate Challenge, which was the highest paying USAC National Sprint Car race that season.
Since 2010, Buch Motorsports has run a true "Outlaw" schedule, collecting wins with the World of Outlaws and Tony Stewart's All-Star Circuit of Champions. Over the past 10 years, the team has had several elite drivers piloting the Buch sprint car including Kyle Larson, Tyler Walker, and Jason Leffler from NASCAR; Sprint Car Hall of Fame drivers Jac Hauldenschild, Tim Shaffer, and Kramer Williamson; and future Sprint Car Hall of Fame drivers Daryn Pittman and Danny Dietrich.
Buch Motorsports heads into the 2021 season eyeing the 2021 All-Star Circuit of Champions Championship with Justin Peck as the driver of the #13 car. In addition to the full All-Star Circuit of Champions schedule, the team plans to run 25-30 World of Outlaw events, as well as Eldora Speedway's Kings Royal, The Knoxville Nationals, Williams Groves National Open, and Port Royal's Tuscarora 50. The 2021 90+ race schedule will be completed with local Central Pennsylvania events.
